The team of Veterinarians have a wealth of experience and expertise in fields ranging from Soft Tissue surgery, Dermatology, Opthalmology and Orthopedics to Acupuncture and alternative medicine. Combined with an experienced group of Technicians, the team at Central Veterinary Clinic is dedicated to providing the best care possible to your pets using the most advanced techniques and equipment.
All diagnostics and procedures are performed in-house enabling a rapid diagnosis and treatment. Our diagnostics include Digital Xray; Ultrasound with real time analysis and diagnosis by specialist in the field of oncology, internal medicine and cardiology; Blood analytic machines including electrolyte analysis, heartworm tests, parvo tests, ehrlichia and anaplasma (tick fever) with results in a matter of minutes.

VETERINARY DIAGNOSTIC LABS
Our state of the art clinic is fully equipped to handle all issues when it comes to animals. We’re committed to your pet’s health and will always do what is needed most . All of our blood tests are performed using Idexx blood machines and with results in a matter of minutes, we can create the best treatment plan possible.
DIGITAL RADIOGRAPHY AND ULTRASOUND
Digital radiography and Ultrasound are key diagnostic tools when determining what problem your pet has. Our Ultrasound is directly connected to ultrasound specialists in the US who ensure that even the smallest problem is not missed. From fetal heartbeat analysis to cardiac problems, we are equipped for any condition your pet may have.
SOFT TISSUE AND ORTHOPEDIC SURGERY
From cataract surgery to fracture repairs using plates and screws, our goal is to ensure your pet has the best long term prognosis. Our Veterinarians attend regular continuing education seminars to enhance their ability and learn new techniques in order to provide the best care for your pet(s).
DENTAL CLEANING
Dental disease is one of the most common medical conditions and many dogs and cats are susceptible to dental problems. A dental exam during our Wellness checkups are vital to long term dental care.
Just like us, a dental cleaning is essential at least once per year. At that time, our dental technician will use an ultrasound dental scaler to clean each tooth thoroughly above and below the gum line and polish the teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup.

Our priority is the health of your pet. Although we do not have formal payment plans, we will work with clients on a one on one basis to reach a payment agreement
DO YOU TREAT EXOTIC ANIMALS?
Our team has experience treating turtles, birds and reptiles.
DO YOU PERFORM COSMETIC SURGERY ON ANIMALS?
We do not perform tail docking or ear cropping. In collaboration with the Barbados Veterinary Association and its members, these procedures are not allowed.
